That crazy uncle who spouts conspiracy theories at Thanksgiving deserves an apology; he’s been right often enough to be scary.
Example 1:
On Monday, a staunchly Christian member of Finland’s parliament who is a mother of five children and a grandmother of six went on trial, facing criminal charges for her Biblical views as demonstrated in a 2019 Bible tweet, a radio show in 2019, and a church pamphlet from 2004.
This is one of the oldie conspiracy theories. That Christians would be prosecuted for their religious beliefs on gender and sex. On that same note Canada’s ban on conversion therapy could be interpreted to ban the gospel.
Considering that Canada, supposedly an enlightened western nation, threw a pastor in a maximum security prison for preaching, I really doubt they will be anything but liberal prosecuting this law to the fullest extent. [That story goes to show how far our Western culture has fallen.]
Example 2:
That if the government pays for your healthcare, then they will dictate how and at what priority you receive it. Now, this was only ever a partial conspiracy theory. Anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows that these things are true in Canada and the UK. But the response to Obamacare was, “oh no, that will never happen here.”
However, here is a sitting Supreme Court Justice arguing that the government should dictate your health decisions to you.
Example 3:
That they would change the definition of “fully-vaccinated.” Governor Desantis (R) - Florida predicted that this would happen and was called a conspiracy theorist something like 4-5 months ago.
But here is the director of the CDC changing the language.
More on this from The Daily Wire here.
It’s funny, sometimes the future seems impossible to predict. But as echo chambers and hiveminds gain dominance in leftist politics they become strikingly easy to predict. Plus, it helps that as mainstream media fades to irrelevance, conservatives are starting to take advantage of new ways to disseminate information.
The lesson here is clear: The next time you hear a conspiracy theory, don’t dismiss it out of hand.
